Tempered glass is a safety and reliability.
Modern architects, designers, constructors cannot imagine their creations without glass constructions. Tempered glass is used when the ordinary glass cannot meet durability and safety requirements. Main branches where tempered glass is used are construction industry, automobile industry, mechanical engineering, furniture manufacturing.
Today, in many countries glazing of upper floors, balconies and loggias are permitted to apply only if the glass is safe when exploited for people to avoid being injured by great broken fragments of glass fallen down during the destruction.
Frameless doors, partitions, high-rise glazing, shower cabins, escalator and railing enclosures must be manufactured by tempered glass according to the norms. Transparent partitions and doors are also manufactured by thermally processed glass.

Tempered glass is a simple plate glass underwent a special thermal processing. The glass reheated nearly up to 650-700 degrees is easy to cool up to room temperature by the air current. In the result of a sharp cooling, certain interior tension springs up in the glass, thus improving mechanical durability and special (safe) character of destruction. Tempered glass acquires a significant resistance towards the strokes, twists and it becomes more stable to temperature drops. Tempered glass is stable to temperature drops up to 180 C degrees whereas ordinary glasses are stable up to 40 C degrees. When damaged, tempered glass is crumbled into small safe pieces with blunt faces. It is worth mentioning that after the glass is tempered its mechanical processing, placement under an aperture or making additional furniture cuttings or fastening apertures is impossible.
Thermal processing lines mounting, balancing and commissioning finished in January 2008 enable to realize tempering of flat glass plates with maximal sizes 3600õ2400mm and from 3mm to 19mm thickness and to make glass tempering low-emissive coating (K-glass). The lines are equipped by computer-controlled convection bake heating of glass due to which we manage to do a high quality glass tempering. Highly-produced lines of cyclic operation equipped by modern computer-control system enable to do glass tempering up to 200sq.m during end-of-shift-productivity.
